Welcome to Extra Activity.

Welcome to Extra Activity, an indie game studio.

Our Mission, Vision And Values

We are an indie studio with a dream, more than that, in fact. We want to make the best that we can and so we need to define the three pillars.

Mission

Our mission is to create experiences in games that are worthy of doing and more importantly, that are fun. The aim is never to degrade, only to enhance the experience as a whole, but gameplay will always come first.

Vision

Our vision is to establish ourselves as a game studio that people can trust that they’ll have a good experience, regardless of the genre chosen or game created.

Values

Our values are commitment (to the creation of good experiences), boldness (to engage into different ideas), patience (so that we can make great experiences), understanding (what our customers want) and love for the craft (so that we can make the best that we can).

Why the name ‘Extra Activity’?

I had this name idea for a while, then I registered the domain, so I decided to use it.

Who’s Guicool?

I was born in 1992, my first real games were on a SNES, with Top Gear 2 and Donkey Kong Country being my favorites. Soon I jumped to PC to play Doom and others, until I played Counter-Strike for a long time. On the console side, I had a PS1 and played games like Crash Bandicoot and Gran Turismo, only upgrading from there, PC and PS2.

After 2008, I decided to play Dragon Age: Origins, my first Western RPG experience and Persona 4, my first Eastern RPG experience and I loved both of them, effectively changed what I was going to play in years to come, until the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. With the ease of access to create mods, I started creating basic followers for the game, until the release of Fallout 4, in which I developed my first big mod, Ellen.

Since then, I had studied the craft of making games, while observing other creations. I took several different courses and decided to create games that I’d love others to make but aren’t simply happening.
